Quick and Simple Homemade Remoulade

Remoulade is a delicious dipping sauce for seafood and vegetables. You can serve with fish fillets, fish cakes, shrimp, and blanched or steamed vegetables.

Ingredients
  

  • 2/3 cups mayonnaise (avocado based or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons scallions green tops only, minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley fresh, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt or Old Bay
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic pressed or minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper course ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl, cover, and let rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until ready to serve.

Notes

There is a spicier version of remoulade from Louisianna that has more kick. If you like to make that version add 1 tablespoon of Louisianna Hot Sauce
