Measure 4 teaspoons of seasoned salt, 1 teaspoon of course ground pepper, 1 teaspoon of dehydrated minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon of thyme, and mix in a bowl. This is the perfect amount for a 5lb rib roast. It equals about an ounce. I often triple or quadruple the recipe and so it's ready to go for many recipes.
For use on rib roast, rub the seasoning onto the roast, wrap in plastic wrap, and keep in the refrigerator from 1 to 3 days prior to cooking.
