Ingredients

  • 1 large onion small diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound sour cream (16 ounces)
  • 1 beef bouillon cube (or 1 teaspoon of beef better than bouillon)
  • 1 pinch pepper (or to taste) optional

Instructions

  • Small dice the onion. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in saute pan, and cook on medium-low heat for 30 to 40 minutes, or until deeply caramelized.
  • Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
  • You can serve the dip immediately. However, letting it rest in the refrigerator for an hour and stirring again will yield the best results.
